RNA-Seq data for flowering process

Infrequent and unpredictable flowering events coupled with peculiar monocarpic behavior such as flowering once before culm death are most of unique characteristics of bamboo. To compare gene expression between flowering and vegetative tissues, the analysis of RNA-seq among different tissues were carried out. The 7 samples from different moso bamboo tissues were shown as S20 (tip of 20-cm shoot), S50 (tip of 50-cm shoot), RH (rhizome), RT (root), LF (leaf), P1 (panicle at the early stage), and P2 (panicle at the flowering stage) Gene expression of selected genes were significantly increased transcription level (>2 fold increase, Q-value<0.001) in the floral tissues. In addition, their genes contained two or more copies were shown in following table. Table listed the genes carrying clustered conserved function domains (Interpro domains).
